Thank you for coming to the Burlington Kids Camp VBS! We’re honoured to be part of your week, and we’re so glad you’re here. This is a collaborative effort by three churches here in Burlington – Ebenezer, Rehoboth, and Fellowship – and if you enjoyed this and are wondering what else there might be for you here, we’d like to let you know about some of the other things going on at our three churches that might be a blessing to you.
Sunday Worship
We know that many of you may have a church home already, and we’re thankful you have a place where you can worship God, be encouraged in the good news of Jesus Christ, enjoy fellowship with others, and have opportunities to serve. But if that’s not the case, and you’re interested in learning more about Jesus Christ, looking for a church home, or maybe just checking out the Christian faith a little more, we’d love for you to join us any Sunday.

Youth Programs
Like what we do for the Kids Camp, Ebenezer, Rehoboth and Fellowship also work together on their youth programs and other ministries, and we would love to have you join us.
Called to Greatness (CTG) Elementary Youth Group
The CTG Youth Group is for kids in grades 5-8, and we will get together for fun activities, fellowship, or service opportunities (Amazing race, movie night, games night, trampoline park, craft nights, etc). The idea is just to provide an opportunity for kids to get together with other kids for fellowship, fun and food. With each activity, there will also be a brief Biblical devotional where we share the good news of God’s love for us in Jesus Christ. Depending on the activity, there might be a cost, but we usually pay half of that cost so that going to places like Game Time Social or Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park, are not cost-prohibitive for anyone. We’d love to have you join us.
You can email ctgyouthgroupburlington@gmail.com if you’d like more information or if you’d like to sign up.
Teaching Ministry for Youth (Catechism class)
On Tuesday nights, from the beginning of September till the end of April, we have a youth instructional program that teaches students in grades 7 – 12 more about the Christian faith. We call it catechism classes, which is just a fancy way of saying teaching classes. The idea behind the class is that we help parents teach their kids about the good news of Jesus Christ and give them a safe and relaxed environment where students can ask questions about what the Bible teaches. Currently, there are about 60 students attending, and we meet at 7:00 on Tuesdays here at Ebenezer (607 Dynes). There is a junior class (grades 7-9) led by Pastor Hilmer and a senior class (grades 9-12) led by Pastor Tony. About once a month we take a break from the instructional classes and have what we call a Fun Night, where we play games or do acts of service in the community. We’d love to have you join us whenever you’d like. Our first class will be on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
If you’re interested in learning a little bit more about the class, talk to Pastor Tony. You can email Pastor Tony at pastor@burlingtonebenezer.ca or text/phone him at (905) 802-0625.
Burlington Youth Group (BYG)
The BYG is connected with the Tuesday night youth program but is more focused on activities and service opportunities. Sometimes these will be on Tuesday, and other times on a Saturday. Similar to the CTG Youth Group, there may be a cost for some of the activities, like paintball, laser tag, or a trampoline park, but we typically pay about half the price, so it’s not cost prohibitive for anyone.

Adult Programs
Christianity Explored, Life Explored, and Hope Explored
Do you have questions about Christianity? Either as a skeptic or someone just wanting to learn more, we run a class called Christianity Explored, as well as Life Explored and Hope Explored. We get together for a meal, watch a video, work through a part of scripture and then discuss.
If you’d like to learn more about the class, you can check out the program at www.christianityexplored.org or email Pastor Tony at workshops@burlingtonebenezer.ca or Pastor Mark at pastormark@fellowshipchurch.ca.
Ebenezer Small Groups (ESG)
ESG is about fellowship and study opportunities. Small groups of about 10 to 12 people will meet every other week to study a book of the Bible or a book on a certain topic, have fellowship together, enjoy food together and pray for each other and our community. If you’re interested in a small and informal Bible study and fellowship group, or if you have questions, you can reach the leadership team at smallgroups@burlingtonebenezer.ca.
Flourish Women’s Ministry
Ebenezer, Rehoboth, and Fellowship, together with Redemption Church in Waterdown, are part of the Flourish Women’s Resource Network. Flourish exists to help churches equip and support women to grow and flourish, and each individual church has a variety of ministries and programs providing women opportunities to fellowship, learn, mentor, and encourage.
You can find more information at www.flourishwrn.org, or contact them at admin@flourishwrn.org.
Each church also has its own ministries for young adults, seniors, women, and men, as well as prayer groups, service opportunities and fellowship groups. If you would like to learn more, please reach out to one of our pastors and they’d be happy to talk with you more. (Contact info below)
