Burlington Young Adults (BYA) is a great place to connect, ask good questions, and grow in faith alongside others in the same stage of life. We value friendship, open conversation, and meaningful growth, all in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Everyone 18-30 is welcome! Come as you are, bring a friend, and join the conversation. We gather on Sunday evenings at 7:30 PM for a variety of events throughout the year, including speaker nights, discussions, game nights, and retreats.

Wesley HuffWesley Huff

Wes is currently the Vice President for Apologetics Canada and has been a guest on a variety of the world’s largest public platforms. His passion to help show that the Christian faith is intellectually credible and existentially satisfying has led him to participate in public dialogues, debates, and interfaith events on issues of belief and religion around the world.

Dr. Will den HollanderDr. Will den Hollander

Dr. den Hollander became a professor of New Testament at the Canadian Reformed Theological Seminary in 2020, after serving as a pastor for nearly four years. He completed a PhD in the Collaborative Programme in Ancient History at York University and the University of Toronto, with a focus on the first-century Jewish historian Flavius Josephus, who is a significant witness to the world of the New Testament.

Dr. Bill DeJongDr. Bill DeJong

Bill DeJong has served as a pastor for nearly 30 years in Canada and the USA, most recently as the lead pastor of Blessings Christian Church in Hamilton, ON. He also serves as a Fellow of the Kirby Laing Centre for Public Theology (Cambridge, UK) and as chair of the Scripture and Church Seminar for the Institute for Biblical Research. He now plays a role in the spiritual formation of faculty and staff at Redeemer University and teaches some courses. His primary interests lie in practical theology, ethics, spiritual formation, and ecclesiology.
